Scholarship Opportunities
1. Albertsons Drug Division Scholarship: This scholarship, which is worth $1000, is awarded to 42 pharmacy students who are working for Savon or Osco Drug. More information can be found at www.albertsons.com.
2. American Foundation For Pharmaceutical Education (AFPE): Various scholarships worth $7500 are provided by this organization to one student to encourage advanced graduate pharmacy study. These scholarships are:
a) Kappa Epsilon-Pfizer-AFPE-Nellie Wakeman First Year Graduate School Scholarship
b) Phi Lambda Sigma-GlaxoSmithKline-AFPE First Year Graduate School Scholarship
c) Rho Chi-Schering Plough-AFPE First Year Graduate School Scholarship

4. American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation: $1000 scholarships are given to students who are active in their college’s APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists chapter. More information can be found at www.aphafoundation.org.
5. American Society Of Consultant Pharmacists—Arnold S. Feldman Memorial Senior Care Pharmacy Scholarship: One scholarship is given to a third professional-year student who exemplifies Arnold S. Feldman's commitment to serving the senior population regardless of the health care setting. More information can be found at www.ascp.com.
6. American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Student Leadership Award: 12 leadership awards are given each year. The application deadline is December 1 of each year. The winners receive $2500, a plaque, and an ASHP drug information reference library. More information can be found at www.ashp.org.
7. National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Pharmacy Student Scholarship Program For Tomorrow’s Chain Pharmacy Leaders: Ten $2000 scholarships are awarded yearly to students who have an interest in a career in chain community practice. More information can be found at www.nacds.org.
8. National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Foundation Scholarship/Loans: The NCPA Foundation wants to assist pharmacy students interested in entrepreneurship finance their pharmacy education through scholarships and low-interest student loans. 9. Tylenol Brand Scholarship Program: Over $250,000 in scholarships are awarded to students interested in a health care profession. Winners are selected on the basis of leadership in community activities, grade point average, and intended focus on health care-related areas of study.
